The Perak Multisport Festival 2026 is the seventh edition of this celebrated multi-discipline race series, taking place on 6–7 June 2026 at the breathtaking Marina Island Pangkor, Lumut, Perak. Organised by XS Elite Performance, this event brings together triathletes, duathletes, aquathletes, and fun runners for a weekend of competitive racing and community spirit on one of Malaysia’s most scenic coastal backdrops.

Athletes can choose from four disciplines: Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquathlon, and Fun Run — catering to a wide range of fitness levels and multi-sport experience. Whether you’re a seasoned iron-distance competitor or stepping into your first multisport event, the Perak Multisport Festival offers a category suited to your goals.

Triathlon course

The triathlon day (6 June) features four categories — Sprint (750m / 20km / 5km), Olympic (1.5km / 40km / 10km), 113KM long course (2km / 90km / 21km), and Junior. The swim flag-off is at 6:30am with all categories starting from the marina.

The course is built around the Marina Island peninsula on a multi-loop format: swim laps around the marina, bike loops on the island and causeway, and run loops along the waterfront. Aid stations are stocked with water, isotonic drinks, electrolytes, bananas, fruit, and ice (on the long course). A wetsuit-optional swim is expected given typical west-coast Malaysia water temperatures. See the route map below for the full course breakdown by category.

Marina Island is a 316.9-acre reclaimed island connected to the mainland by a 400-metre causeway bridge, situated on the coast of Teluk Muroh in Perak. It serves as a gateway to the popular holiday retreats of Pangkor Island and Pangkor Laut, offering crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and lush surroundings — making it one of the most scenic race venues in Malaysia for open-water swimming, cycling, and running.

This event is proudly supported by Tourism Perak and backed by the Promising Perak initiative. Registration is available via racexasia.com. Mark your calendars and secure your spot early — this is one multisport weekend you won’t want to miss.
