XTERRA Borneo Sarawak 2026 returns to the wilds of Sematan and Lundu from 17–19 April 2026, bringing one of the world’s most celebrated off-road multisport festivals to the heart of Borneo. Whether you’re a seasoned triathlete, a mountain biker, a trail runner, or a family looking to introduce your kids to outdoor sports, XTERRA Borneo Sarawak has a category for everyone — set against some of the most breathtaking scenery on the island.

The weekend’s headline event on 18 April is the Full Distance Triathlon (available as Individual or Relay), which kicks off with a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the South China Sea, followed by a punishing MTB ride through the foothills of Mount Pueh, and concludes with a trail run through lush tropical jungles and vibrant tribal communities. Also on 18 April, the Duathlon combines the MTB and trail run legs for athletes who prefer to skip the swim, while the XC Mountain Bike race challenges riders with demanding climbs, technical singletrack, stream crossings, and fast-flowing descents through local orchards and villages. Young adventurers aged 3–10 can join the Kids Duathlon (600m bike + 1K trail run) in a safe and fun environment.

On 19 April, the trails of Mount Pueh’s foothills come alive for the running community. Choose from the Trail Half Marathon, the 13K Trail Run, or the 7K Trail Run — each offering a unique mix of coastal, jungle, orchard, and community terrain with stream crossings and off-camber sections. Beginners and families are well catered for with the 7K open-to-all-ages route, and young runners aged 3–10 can experience the joy of trail sports on the Kids Trail Run (1K).
