Bank Rakyat EKVE Community Ride 2026

The Bank Rakyat EKVE Community Ride 2026 is a non-competitive community cycling event set along the scenic East Klang Valley Expressway (EKVE), taking place on Sunday, 23 August 2026. Organised by Sportswork Group Sdn. Bhd. and supported by the Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF), this event brings together cyclists of all abilities for a memorable ride on one of Malaysia’s most iconic expressways, closed especially for the occasion.

Two categories are available: the 30KM Community (1 loop, 733m elevation gain, flag off at 7:00AM) for those looking for a fun and accessible challenge, and the 60KM Challenge (2 loops, 1,466m elevation gain, flag off at 6:30AM) for riders seeking a more demanding test. Both categories start and finish at the EKVE Ampang Toll Plaza, passing through Hulu Langat and featuring well-placed water stations and rest stops along the route. Both categories share a cut-off time of 10:30AM. The event is open to all participants aged 16 and above riding road bikes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes, hybrid bikes, folding bikes, or touring bikes.

All registered participants will receive an event jersey, finisher medal, food and refreshments at the carnival area at AEON Big Ampang Jaya, and a goodies bag. Bank Rakyat cardholders enjoy exclusive discounted registration fees, with early bird pricing available until 30 June. Race packs can be collected on 21–22 August 2026 (venue TBC) or delivered to your home or office for RM10 (West Malaysia only).
