Audax Symphony Hills Merdeka Ride

The Audax Symphony Hills Merdeka Ride 2026 is one of the most celebrated events on the Audax Randonneurs Malaysia calendar — a long-distance endurance ride held in the spirit of Malaysia’s National Day, Merdeka. This year marks a milestone as the event moves to a brand-new venue: the Opera House at Symphony Hills, Cyberjaya, in collaboration with Symphony Hills Cyberjaya by UEM Sunrise. Whether you are a seasoned randonneur or stepping up to your first brevet, this is a ride that blends adventure, patriotism, and the joy of cycling with fellow riders from across the country.

Three categories are available to suit riders of different experience levels. The Permanent 130 (130km) is an untimed, non-BRM category — ideal for those newer to long-distance riding or riding in a more relaxed “tourist” style. It does not earn an ACP homologation number. The BRM200 (200km) must be completed within the official ACP time limit of 13.5 hours, while the BRM400 (400km) must be completed within 27 hours. Successful BRM200 and BRM400 completions earn an official ACP homologation number, contributing toward Super Randonneur and Paris–Brest–Paris qualification.

All participants ride a fixed route, self-navigating and collecting stamps at designated checkpoints (controls) along the way. This is not a race — there are no rankings or winners. The spirit of Audax is to ride within the time limit, support fellow riders, and complete the journey together. Flag-off is typically in the early hours of the morning, and BRM400 riders will ride through the night into the following day.

Early bird registrants (before 7 July 2026) will receive a complimentary Limited Edition Audax Merdeka Ride 2026 Jersey, and the first 400 registrants will also receive a pair of complementary photochromic cycling glasses — essential gear for long hours on the road.
