PDRM Tanjung Putra 188 (PTP 188) Fun Run & Fun Ride 2026

The PDRM Tanjung Putra 188 (PTP 188) Fun Run & Fun Ride 2026 is a community sporting event organised by Kelab Polis IPK Pahang, with support from PDRM Pahang and Majlis Bandaraya Kuantan (MBK). Held on 23 May 2026 starting at 6:30 AM at Padang MBK & Dataran Taman Kerang, Kuantan, this event brings together runners and cyclists of all levels for a morning of fitness, fun, and camaraderie in the heart of Kuantan city.

The event offers three categories: a 5KM Fun Run, a 10KM Fun Run, and a 50KM Fun Ride. The 5KM route traverses Jalan Mahkota and Jalan Besar along the scenic Kuantan riverfront via Esplanade Kuantan, looping down towards LHDN before returning to the start/finish at Menara Jam (Padang MBK 1). The 10KM route extends across Jambatan Tanjung Lumpur and Jambatan Putra, circling Sungai Kuantan for a more expansive city and riverside experience. Both routes start and finish at the same point near the iconic Clock Tower.

All registered participants will receive a finisher medal, event t-shirt (short or long sleeve), e-certificate, race bib, lucky draw entry, and a snack pack. T-shirts are available in a full range of adult sizes (XS–7XL) and kids sizes (age 1–20). The first 100 finishers in each category (5KM, 10KM, and 50KM) qualify for a special additional lucky draw, with prizes including motorcycles, bicycles, televisions, kitchen appliances, and more.

Early Bird pricing is available until 31 March 2026: RM50 (5KM), RM60 (10KM), and RM70 (50KM). Normal rates from 1 April–1 May 2026 are RM60, RM70, and RM80 respectively. An additional RM10 applies for long-sleeve jerseys. Registration closes on 1 May 2026 or when slots are filled. Cyclists must comply with all cycling safety regulations including wearing a helmet.
