The Coast 2 Coast Interstate Ride 2026 (CCIR26) is a premier multi-day road cycling event taking place from 24–27 June 2026, challenging riders to conquer a 444km route that spans four Malaysian states — Perak, Pahang, Kelantan, and Terengganu. Starting at the scenic Marina Island in Lumut, Perak, this is one of the most ambitious cycling adventures on the Malaysian calendar.
The route takes riders through some of the country’s most breathtaking terrain, including the cooling highland roads of Cameron Highlands, over the spine of Banjaran Titiwangsa, and along the eastern seaboard all the way north to the tranquil shores of Kenyir Lake. Riders will finish at the sandy shores of Batu Burok Beach, Terengganu, having accumulated approximately 5,800m of total elevation gain on smooth tarmac roads winding through tea plantations and mountain passes.
Spread across four days, CCIR26 is suited to well-trained endurance cyclists seeking a supported, structured challenge across peninsular Malaysia’s heartland. The combination of highland climbs, fast descents, and lakeside riding makes this a truly memorable route for those who want to push their limits while experiencing Malaysia’s diverse landscapes.
The event is organised by Endurance Nature in collaboration with XS Elite Performance, both established names in the Malaysian endurance sports scene. Registration is open via racexasia.com. Malaysian endurance athletes looking for a multi-day bucket-list ride should not miss this one.
