Bukit Gantang Eco Cycling Explorace 2026

The Bukit Gantang Eco Cycling Explorace 2026 is a 20km cycling explorace set in and around the scenic Bukit Gantang area in Larut dan Matang, Perak. This is not your ordinary ride: participants will be guided through a curated route that weaves together natural landscapes, kampung trails, and significant historical landmarks, making it a truly unique experience for cyclists of all backgrounds.

The route features 5 exciting checkpoints: Ethno Valley (a refreshing natural start), Makam Panglima Bukit Gantang (a local heritage site), D’ Chalet Dusun Durian (surrounded by lush orchard greenery), the Old Railway Tunnel ⭐ (the highlight of the event, a rare and iconic tunnel experience), and Makam Long Jaafar (tracing the legacy of a key figure in Perak’s history).

The event is open to all under a single Terbuka (Open) category at RM60 per person, with no participant limit. Every registered participant will receive an exclusive event jersey, a drawstring bag, mineral water and bread, and a finisher medal upon completion.

Organised by PETANDA (Kelab Sukan dan Kebajikan Kakitangan Pejabat Daerah dan Tanah Larut dan Matang, Taiping) with strategic partner TBR, the event takes place on Saturday, 11 July 2026 from 8:00am to 1:00pm, flagging off at Gelanggang Futsal Bukit Gantang.
