Bukit Dinding Downhill Race 7.0

Bukit Dinding Downhill Race 7.0 is back for its seventh edition, taking place at Bukit Dinding, Kuala Lumpur from 19–21 June 2026. Organised by Scarfox Cycling Club, this is one of Malaysia’s most anticipated downhill mountain bike race events, drawing competitive riders from across the country for a weekend of fast, technical racing on one of KL’s most thrilling descents.

The event caters to a wide range of riders across nine categories: Junior (Age 13–18), Women Open (Age 13 & above), Men Sports (Age 19–29), Men Master A (Age 30–39), Men Master B (Age 40–49), Men Master C (Age 50 & above), Men Master Expert (Age 30 & above, recommended for top 5 winners from any 2025 race), Men Elite (Age 13 & above, recommended for sponsored, SUKMA, national & ex-national athletes), and E-Bike (Age 19 & above). Registration fee is RM237.60 inclusive of SST and processing fee. Note that the E-Bike category is subject to a minimum number of participants.

The race weekend kicks off on Thursday, 18 June with a track walk, race pack collection, and rider briefing — all compulsory for participants. Friday, 19 June is the mandatory official practice day; all riders must complete at least one full run from start to finish or face disqualification. Saturday, 20 June features the seeding run, where participants are ranked slowest to fastest per category using the ProChip timing system. Sunday, 21 June is race day, where it all comes together.

A few important rules to note: Junior category participants require a signed parental/guardian consent letter on registration day. Podium finishers (P1–P5) from Men Master A and Men Master B at BDDH 6.0 (2024) are required to register under Men Master Expert for BDDH 7.0.
