Bukit Dinding Downhill Race 7.0

Bukit Dinding Downhill Race 7.0 is back for its seventh edition, bringing the thrill of gravity racing to the iconic Bukit Dinding trail in Kuala Lumpur on 19–21 June 2026. Organised by Scarfox Cycling Club, this highly anticipated event draws downhill mountain bikers from across Malaysia for a weekend of competitive racing, seeding runs, and mandatory practice on one of KL’s most exhilarating downhill tracks.

The event caters to a wide range of riders with the following categories: Junior (Age 13–18), Women Open (Age 13 & above), Men Sports (Age 19–29), Men Master A (Age 30–39), Men Master B (Age 40–49), Men Master C (Age 50 & above), Men Master Expert (Age 30 & above — recommended for top 5 winners from any 2025 race), Men Elite (Age 13 & above — recommended for sponsored, SUKMA, national & ex-national athletes), and E-Bike (Age 19 & above). The registration fee is RM237.60 inclusive of SST and processing fees, applicable across all categories.

The race weekend kicks off on Thursday, 18 June with a track walk, race pack collection, and race briefing (no bikes allowed on track walk day). Friday, 19 June is a mandatory official practice day with uplift service provided — all participants must complete at least one full run from start to finish or face automatic disqualification. Saturday, 20 June is the seeding run, where riders are ranked from slowest to fastest per category using the ProChip timing system. The main Race Day is Sunday, 21 June.

A few important notes for participants: Junior category riders must have a letter of consent signed by a parent or guardian on Registration Day. All podium finishers (P1–P5) from Men Master A and Men Master B at BDDH 6.0 (2024) are required to register under the Men Master Expert category. The E-Bike category is subject to a minimum number of registrations — if the minimum is not met, the category may be cancelled with a partial refund issued. Timing devices (ProChip transponders) will be provided on Seeding Run and Race Day, requiring a cash deposit of RM200 or submission of a driving licence/passport.
