Ba'kelalan International Outback MTB Tour 2026

The Ba’kelalan International Outback MTB Tour 2026 (BIO MTB) is a three-day staged mountain bike tour in the northern highlands of Sarawak, billed as “Ride the Trade Trail”. Riders report on 9 December 2026, ride from 10 to 12 December, and depart on 13 December. The route covers about 140km from Lawas through Long Sukang and Long Semadoh to Ba’kelalan, on the old highland trade trail near the Kalimantan border.

It is a tour rather than a race, and the package is built around that. Entry includes a T-shirt, rider kit, medal, meals for four days, shared accommodation for three nights, and one transfer from Ba’kelalan back to Lawas. Entry is RM500 per rider at the early-bird rate, which ends 31 October 2026, and RM800 after that. A group of four pays RM1,800 early bird or RM2,800 normally. The field is limited to 300 riders.
