The Pedal Asia Challenge Malaysia Leg is an epic nine-day supported cycling tour that crosses the full width of Peninsular Malaysia, from the western slopes of the Titiwangsa range in Seremban to the east coast cultural capital of Kota Bharu. This is one of the most comprehensive touring experiences available in Malaysia, covering approximately 900km through diverse landscapes, cultures, and climates.
The route follows a carefully designed itinerary: Days 1-3 climb through the interior via Kuala Pilah, Jelebu, and into the Titiwangsa range, with the highest point near Fraser’s Hill. Days 4-5 descend the eastern slopes through Raub and into the Pahang floodplains. Days 6-7 enter the east coast states, passing through the ancient forests near Taman Negara. Days 8-9 follow the coastal road through Terengganu and into Kelantan, arriving at Kota Bharu’s vibrant cultural district.
The all-inclusive fee covers nine nights of accommodation (mix of hotels and guesthouses), all meals, daily luggage transfer, mechanical support vehicle, experienced ride leaders, and return transport from Kota Bharu to Seremban. Daily distances range from 80 to 120km, with the mountain stages being shorter but more demanding. The event is suitable for experienced touring cyclists with a good base fitness level. Group sizes are capped at 30 riders, creating a close-knit community over the nine days.
