Klang Valley E-Bike Festival 2026

The Klang Valley E-Bike Festival is Malaysia’s pioneering dedicated e-bike event, created to celebrate and promote the rapidly growing electric cycling movement. Open exclusively to riders on pedal-assist e-bikes (no throttle-only vehicles), this festival removes the stigma sometimes associated with electric assist and creates a welcoming space for a diverse community of riders, from seniors rediscovering cycling to commuters exploring weekend routes.

The 50km route takes riders through the Klang Valley’s growing network of cycling paths and quiet suburban roads, from Subang Jaya through Shah Alam’s lakeside paths and Kota Damansara’s community trails. The 25km route stays closer to Subang Jaya, using dedicated cycling infrastructure where available. Both routes are flat-to-gently-rolling and designed to showcase how e-bikes open up cycling to more people.

Beyond the rides, the festival features an e-bike expo with the latest models from Bosch, Shimano STEPS, and local Malaysian e-bike brands. Test ride areas allow visitors to try different e-bike types, from city commuters to e-MTBs. Workshops cover e-bike maintenance, battery care, and route planning for e-bike commuting. The event aims to normalise e-bike use in Malaysia and advocate for better cycling infrastructure across the Klang Valley.
