The Cyberjaya Crit Night Series transforms Malaysia’s premier tech hub into a floodlit racing circuit every first Saturday of the month. Cyberjaya’s wide, perfectly surfaced roads and minimal weekend traffic make it an ideal venue for criterium racing, and the series has become the country’s most popular regular competitive cycling event. The circuit on Persiaran Multimedia features flowing corners, one short drag, and excellent sight lines for spectators.
Three categories ensure competitive racing for all levels. Cat A is for licensed racers and elite club riders, covering 20 fast laps with aggressive tactics, attacks, and sprint finishes. Cat B suits experienced recreational racers over 15 laps, while Cat C provides an entry point for riders new to competitive cycling over 10 laps. Each round awards series points, with the overall series champion crowned at the December finale.
Racing begins at 8pm when temperatures are more comfortable and the atmosphere is electric under the floodlights. Registration closes three days before each round, and numbers are limited to 60 riders per category. The series attracts riders from across the Klang Valley, with Cyberjaya’s central location making it accessible from KL, Putrajaya, Shah Alam, and Petaling Jaya. A warm-up area and bike mechanic are available from 6:30pm.
